The project involves designing and constructing a modern residential villa that emphasises functionality, comfort, and contemporary aesthetics. Contextualised in the suburbs of Chennai city, the house balances open and semi-private spaces organised through thoughtful volumes and a grid system. The central open space serves as the heart of the design, connecting transitional spaces like passages with semi-private spaces like formal & informal halls. Oriented to the north, this villa ensures an even diffusion of light through its openings, creating a serene and inviting ambience in every part of the house.

Designer

Embracing the open skies of Chennai, ‘Anagh Residence’ unwinds in layers of light, shadow, and space. As sunlight streams through its courtyards and stairway, it creates patterns on the walls that evoke a sense of peace and time. Blurring the boundaries between indoors and nature, this villa breathes life into architecture.
